It’s been a while since our last synth exploration - time to fix that!
Here’s an exclusive collection of sounds created from scratch and recorded from the ARP Odyssey (Korg reissue).
Some of the tones were processed through the Elektron Octatrack effects engine, and a few were fine-tuned in pitch to hit their perfect sweet spots.
All sounds were recorded in pristine 24-bit, either in mono or stereo.

This is the sixth update of the breakbeat section - and the biggest one so far: I've added 100 new breaks!

Along with fresh discoveries, I’ve also filled some important gaps by adding classic breaks that, for some reason, had been missing from my collection - including gems from Bernard Purdie, Manzel, Skull Snaps, Little Buck, Blowfly, and others.

As always, all the breaks were manually sliced in ReCycle and saved in REX2 format. All samples come exclusively from lossless sources - no damned MP3s. Click on individual files to download them one by one, or hit the Download button at the end of the post to grab them all at once.

We present to you "Vicious Frequencies", a collection of 50 high-octane sounds for the Arturia Minibrute synthesizer. This is a set of energetic dance sounds suitable for genres like Drum & Bass, Dubstep, Techno, Grime, House, Future Bass, and similar styles. The presets include macro control assignments, velocity sensitivity, modulation wheel and aftertouch settings, as well as properly tagged metadata and descriptions. The bank contains 17 basses, 3 drum/percussion presets, 2 synth keys, 17 leads, 5 pads, and 7 arpeggio and sequencer presets.

Installation:
Unzip the archive, then launch the desktop version of Minibrute (with administrator privileges on Windows). Click the three lines in the top left corner, select Import from the menu, and choose the file Vicious Frequencies for MiniBrute.mbrtx.

Introducing the Downtempo Bundle - the ultimate collection of 17 sample packs in slow tempos, ranging from 60 to 120 BPM. This bundle is the perfect collection for composing music in styles such as Hip Hop, Trip Hop, Acid Jazz, Lo-Fi, Big Beat, Nu Soul, Chill Hop, Downbeat, Funk, Dub, and much more. The bundle mainly includes drum loops, but also features melodic loops, one-shot drums and instruments, as well as special effects.
